For the first time in her career, actress Celina Jaitley played a deglamorized role in Golmaal Returns.

In the movie, Celina Jaitley’s character was named Mira Nair, who hails from a South Indian Brahmin family.

Golmaal Returns

Synopsis:

Gopal rescues an attractive woman from a criminal gang, the two are forced to spend the night on a yacht. But when his wife, Ekta, becomes suspicious about the absence, Gopal claims he was with a friend. Gopal makes up an alibi, but the story starts to fall apart and takes hilarious turns when a dead body is found and the police start to ask questions about where Gopal really was that fateful night.

Good comedy movie, with tons of laughs, which will either bring tears to your eyes and/or make your stomache hurt. Ajay, who barely smiles, makes us laugh and shares perfect chemistry with Kareena, who many times reminds us of Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki (Story of each household)!

Celina's International Fame

Jaitley is slated to play the character of an Iranian princess in the film Quest of Sheherzade along with actors Sean Connery and Orlando Bloom. The film is based on Arabian Nights and will be directed by Ken Khan. This will be Celina's first venture into Hollywood.

She is also the brand ambassador of Egyptian tourism and D'damas.

Celina in New Zealand

In 2007 Celina Jaitley flew to New Zealand and shot her first international movie Love Has No Language, a romantic comedy and while there she was targeted by a stalker who had followed her from India. Jaitley was said to be traumatized by the experience.

Celina's Debut with Khan

In 2003 she made her debut in the movie industry with Fardeen Khan in Feroz Khan's Janasheen.

Jaitley was a finalist in the Miss Universe 2001 contest. In addition to her title of Miss India, Celina has won the Miss Margo Beautiful Skin, Indiatimes Surfer's Choice, and MTV's Most Wanted award.
