8 x 10 Tasveer rumor or business | Fact

Close to the release of 8 x10 Tasveer film, rumors spread that the release would be stalled due to certain misunderstandings between the producers Percept Picture Company and the music distributors T Series.

Checks of Rs 6.67 crore given by PPC to T Series bounced giving rise to rumor's that the film would not be released on the stipulated date.

However, PPC CEO Navin Shah, confirmed that the checks had bounced but also stated that a demand draft had already been given to the music partners and that film's release would be on schedule.

8x10 Tasveer Strike | Fact

Regarding 8x10 Tasveer, the Guild had decided not to release any new films after April 3, but paying heed to Percept Picture Company’s request, decided that the strike would commence after April 4 facilitating the film's April 3 release.

Following initial delays due to visa and luggage problems, the film 8 x 10 Tasveer's budget increased more than expected.

The film was further delayed because of the producers-distributors dispute with exhibitors over revenue-sharing terms and the IPL.

Synopsis: 

When his wealthy father dies in a suspicious yachting accident, Jai Puri harnesses his unusual power to see into the past and journeys into an 8 x 10 snapshot taken of his dad, hoping to uncover clues into the circumstances of his death. But as he gathers proof that reveals his father was murdered, Jai risks his own survival with his repeated trips into the past.

A thriller that will keep one glued to the seat all the way through as it revolves around a man who has the ability to see the past and he uses it to help others, even though it can kill him. 

The cinematography and especially the underwater sequence were breath taking and this will make one want to know what is going to happen next. 

The only negative side to this is that sometimes its quite predictable. 

On the whole, it is a movie that is worth watching. Akshay has done a fantastic job!!!
