Thriller! Definitely a scarcity of movies belonging to this genre. 13B is a great edge-of-the-seat thriller that keeps you engrossed till to the end.

Everything is great--lighting, sound, etc. The plot is fascinating and the unraveling of the story behind the TV serial's characters is eye-popping! The violent flashbacks and disturbed characters leaves the viewers horrified!

Madhavan, as always, has given a sincere and outstanding performance! Must watch movie!!!!!

  • Om Puri
  • Rishi Kapoor
  • Divya Dutta
  • Prem Chopra
  • Atul Kulkarni
  • Deepak Dobriyal
  • Cyrus Sahukar
Grade: C
Totally disappointing, no story line, Sonam Kapoor a total waste & more disappointment (as usual).

Abhishek Bachchan, really needs to start expressing his emotion facially and portray as an "American Asian Indian" (speaking for personal experience and point of view) instead of unknown shade, who has no clue of anything.

Only good thing in this whole movie, is the picturesque and scenic!!!

Grade:

A thriller that will keep one glued to the seat all the way through as it revolves around a man who has the ability to see the past and he uses it to help others, even though it can kill him.

The cinematography and especially the underwater sequence were breath taking and this will make one want to know what is going to happen next.

The only negative side to this is that sometimes its quite predictable.

On the whole, it is a movie that is worth watching. Akshay has done a fantastic job!!!

Grade:

No remake of a Hollywood film. No re-hash of countless other buddy-buddy movies seen in Bollywood. No violence and no scenes that a family watching together would have to squirm at.

Good songs, nice performances and a good solid Indian/Desi story that is rewatchable.

Two wonderful twists, great comedy, wonderful drama, an emotional roller-coaster of a film that shows what Indian cinema is good at.

If you missed this movie than you have missed one of the best movie made in Bollywood industry.

This movie never seems to bore you. I have saw over a hundred times (Really). It's a fascinating movie. The plot was wonderful. The acting was really award winning. Shahrukh Khan is a gem of an actor. Really incredible acting by him.

The songs were awesome! The music was wow. The direction was cool. A must see for those who adore romantic flicks

The reason for B+ and not an A, is because there are too many errors and mistakes, that are distractive.

He, in turn, is captivated by her warm extended family. But the couple's path to happiness turns out to be a circuitous one.

Tanvi Azmi ... Simran Grewal
Himani Shivpuri ... Sweety S. Grewal

Grade:

Some might call this film a bit clichéd, but really when aren't there any clichés in Bollywood?

For a while, I thought Dhai Akshar Prem Ke was going to be a relatively simple Bollywood love story, but the film takes some nasty turns toward the end.

That's what I love about Bollywood, though; you just can't pin one of these movies down, as it is constantly transforming itself into something else - so, when the end comes, it's always thrilling and emotional. I don't know how you can't love a film like this. It has everything: true romance, suspense, drama, comedy, and incredible music

Though one point, all actors needs acting lessons!!!!!!!

Aradhana | Movie Review

Synopsis:
Air Force pilot Arun and the lovely Vandana marry in secret after a brief courtship. But when Arun perishes in a plane crash, the heartbroken and pregnant Vandana must fend for herself and her child. Featuring the tunes "Mere sapno ki rani," "Chanda Hai Tu" and "Roop tera mastana,"

Starring:
  • Sharmila Tagore
  • Rajesh Khanna
  • Sujit Kumar
  • Madan Puri
  • Pahadi Sanyal
  • Anita Gohal
  • Abhi Bhattacharya
  • Asit Sen
  • Sitaram Manmohan
  • Farida Jalal
  • Subhash Ghai
Grade: B+
Fantastic music and a dashing leading man aside, the main reason why Aradhana works is perhaps because of the wonderful story line and direction. Though this movie is more often remembered for shooting Rajesh Khanna into the big league, its Sharmila Tagore's subdued portrayal of Vandana Tripathi that stays with you.

She richly deserved her Filmfare award for Best actress for this role. Farida Jalal and Madan Puri too chip in with good supporting performances. But of course the real winner here is the music, chart busters all of them.

Must watch to know what Bollywood was once capable of yielding before inanities set in.

Paresh Rawal ... Subhash
Naseeruddin Shah ... Jaisingh Adenwalla
Tara Sharma ... Swati

Seldom are movies made from a play and this one goes the right way! The movie wasn't quite catchy, but one could imagine the kind of theatrical performances it must have delivered.. The way the movie was done, one felt the characters were alive on a stage and really entertaining.

The plot of the movie is very good. But the performances are mind blowing! One couldn't have set a better cast, & while the ladies need to do much better, the quartet of Boman, Paresh, Naseer & Om Puri totally mindblowing!

The movie will take you to some dreamy ride and a surprising concept of interaction with your dreams. Wonderful, artistic, awesome are not the words for this movie but still its a colorful, good movie. The movie portrays life of a woman, disrespected and mentally harassed by her husband, whose life takes a turn when she start talking with her dream. Raima Sen's performance is good when it comes to a harassed housewife. Randeep Hudda is effective as always and did a great job. His changing outfits in different scenes sometimes make you smile. The movie overall is good and a light and nice experience to watch.

The acting of each individual really rocked, but the story was a HUGE flaw, there was too much going at once, which doesn’t give the actors a chance to show their emotions regarding that. Also, the style of the story is 90’s.
