Critics Response to Drona
Critics' response to the movie was negative. Most critics blamed the weak storyline, and some also compared it to Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and even Sin City.

Action in Drona
In Drona, the action coordinator Shyam Kaushal studied traditional Indian martial arts like Gatka (adapted by the Sikhs), Kalaripayat (developed by the Malayalams) and Chhau (originating in West Bengal) for incorporation into the film's skirmishes.

Drona-Movie Review
Synopsis
Faraway in a distant town, there was once a young man named Aditya. Brought up by a foster family, Aditya was unaware of his real identity and the destiny that awaited him.
Somewhere far from here, an evil sorcerer, Riz Raizada, a descendant of the asuras (legendary demons), had become dangerously impatient in his thirst for the precious secret. The secret, which was the missing link, in his grand plan of taking over the universe. To get to the secret, he’d have to defeat Drona.

The acting of each actor nice, but the story was quite different. Though the best part of the movie would be the set and props used throughout the movie. There was quite a lot use of CPU or computer image. The songs were ok, not really worth remembering, but good rhythm.
