Irrfan Khan's view on IPL

Irrfan Khan is glad to see the back of the IPL. He reckons it was “a waste of time” and the sheer crassness of it all left him disillusioned with cricket.
That said, Khan, whose star is rocketing post Slumdog Millionaire and Billu Barber, likes Shane Warne for his captaincy, Adam Gilchrist for his belligerence, Mahendra Singh Dhoni for his calmness under pressure and Virender Sehwag for his leadership.
Not bad for a non-IPL fan!

Yuvraaj

Synopsis

In the wake of their father's death, three brothers get together in their home to claim their share of the family fortune -- until an unexpected twist forces them to revisit still-stinging sibling rivalries.

A beautiful musician has the power to bring them all together, but reconciliation won't be easy.

Starring

Salman Khan
Boman Irani
Anil Kapoor
Zayed Khan
Katrina Kaif
Mithun Chakraborty
Sai Gundewar

Grade
B

The backdrop is very classy and stylish. The story is really nice and quite interesting. First 1/2 an hour seems to strethc too long, but after that the movie turns out quite interesting.
The songs are ok, quite slow, not too catchy. Acting is good overall, except for Katrina, who looks really uncomfortable in many scenes.

Rated
G/PG

Aamir Khan and Anil Kapoor declined OSO

Farah Khan also approached Aamir Khan to make a special appearance in the Deewangi song but he pleaded inability to shoot. He was busy with the shooting of Taare Zameen Par and his participation in the song would have delayed his film and, in turn his new film, the Ghajini remake too.

Anil Kapoor also did not agree to become a part of the song. Anil feared that he would be made fun of, on the sets. Also, Anil didn’t feel like being one among so many actors!

Bollywood’s biggest casting coup: Abhishek, Aishwarya and Vivek to feature in Tansen

Call it a casting coup or a thunder of sorts, but Bollywood director Satish Kaushik and Rajshri Productions have made the impossible possible!

The latest buzz has it that `Tansen`, touted to be one of the costliest Hindi films ever to be made, will star Abhishek, Aishwarya, Anil Kapoor, and none other than Vivek Oberoi.

‘Tansen’ is said to be based on the life of the famous Mughal court singer by the same name and will see Abhishek playing the lead role.

The much talked about film is to be shot in Bangkok and then at other international locations such as Australia and New Zealand. The shooting is reported to begin next month.

Each individual played their character roles very well and full of emotions, especially young the young kids. The music was well composed and blended in just right.

Kuch Na Kaho (Don't say anything) from 1942 A Love Story

(Kuch na kaho, kuch bhi na kaho) x.2

(Don't say anything, don't say anything at all) x.2

Kya kehna hai, kya sunna hai

What is there to say, what is there to listen

Mujhko pata hai, tumko pata hai

I know, you know

Samay ka yeh pal tham sa gaya hai

This moment of time has stopped

Aur is pal mein koi nahin hai

And in this moment there is no one

Bas ek main hoon, bas ek tum ho

There is just me, there is just you

Kuch na kaho, kuch bhi na kaho

Don't say anything, don't say anything at all

-----------------------------------

(Kitne gehre halke shyaam ke rang hai chhalke

(How many deep and gentle colors of the evening have spread

Parvat se yun utre baadal jaise aanchal dhalke) x.2

From the mountains rise the clouds like a sari's[1] hem) x.2

Aur is pal mein koi nahin hai

And in this moment there is no one

Bas ek main hoon, bas ek tum ho

There is just me, there is just you

Kuch na kaho, kuch bhi na kaho

Don't say anything, don't say anything at all

-----------------------------------

(Sulgi sulgi saansein, baheki baheki dhadkan

(Passionate breaths, staggering heartbeats

Maheke maheke shyaam ke saaye, pighle pighle tan mann) x.2

Fragrant shadows of the evening, melting body and soul) x.2

Aur is pal mein koi nahin hai

And in this moment there is no one

Bas ek main hoon, bas ek tum ho

There is just me, there is just you
